My husband and I visited the area for a basketball game. It was our first time in Indianapolis. We were there during the winter and wow was it cold and snowy. We stayed at the Omni and just wandered around on Saturday looking for drinks and snacks. It was so cold we didn’t wander too long. We ended up here with no knowledge of the place but there were beer signs and bar food. Let’s give it a try. The place was pretty empty so that scared me a bit but again, it was cold and we didn’t want to wander around any more. We ordered some beer and a couple of appetizers. The beer was cold and our service was fine at the bar. It wasn’t elegant by any means but the people were friendly. The food was typical bar food. Nothing fabulous but it was edible bar food. We ordered nachos and mozzarella sticks (my all time favorite bar food). They were good. We would eat here again if we were looking for drinks and bar food.
HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY. Don’t go unless you plan to stay completely sober. They are very critical on people. I had one drink and was kicked out because they said I looked drunk. I am 44 years old and have never been kicked out of a bar. I wasn’t evened warned or talked to. I didn’t say anything to anyone and didn’t do anything! I was just kicked out. I’m not sure how they can do something like that. I was so embarrassed in front of my friends and my new girl friend. I will never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. Please beware.
