Iozzo’s is easily my favorite Italian restaurant in Indy, and I lived in Italy for 2 summers. The food is fantastic and authentic, and I would highly recommend the lasagna, the wedge salad or spinach salad, and the goat cheese marinara appetizer. They also have a very friendly and knowledgable staff, and a large wine selection! One of my favorite restaurants!
I would recommend this restaurant! The service was excellent, even on a Colts Game day. My partner ordered some of their traditional Italian food, and his Pasta Carbonara was excellent. My egg dish was very tasty and cooked well. We are anxious to go back for dinner, or maybe another lunch.
Love this place! By far the best Italian in the city. We love eating outside in the adorable courtyard. The Meatballs and specialty drinks are worth every penny!

Disappointing Italian. We have been going to Iozzo’s for special occasions for about 4 years now. Tonight was a huge disappointment.First, to get Happy Hour Specials you need to sit in the bar. Second, all of the items the server asked if we wanted included significant upcharges. Okay so we may have to pay attention to the fine print on the menu and read between the lines when our server talks but did the food make up for that? NO! It was one of the tasteless and poorly prepared meals I have had in a while. If it wasn’t for the 1/2 price Martinis I would have rated the meal a 0. The Baked Penne Chicken with tomato cream sauce lacked any flavor. The chicken was plentiful but lacked an any spice. The Eggplant Parm was pathetic. Thin sliced grilled eggplant covered with skimpy provolone cheese layered on top of a brittle ball of pasta with tomato ‘sauce.’ If you can’t pull a complete strand of spaghetti from the pile – in my kitchen I would have thrown it all out. To go on would be futile as were the constructive complaints we made. In a discussion with the manager he acknowledged a change in the Chef and apologized. To the discerning foodie looking for a good a meal this is not the place any longer.
A little dissappointed. Went to their anniversary dinner tonight and overall the meal was nice. Appetizers on the patio. 4 courses. Pork Osso Bucco prepared for most the day was good but mine was warm not hot. Reinforces to me that it had been sitting. My wife’s Grouper looked great and she said it was good. Carrot scallop soup was excellent. Dessert great. Note to staff: someone clean the blinds and back window facing the patio. I had to constantly look away from the window and the dust, dirt that sat over my families 200.00 meal. Not good and certainly influenced my meal. Was hard to ignore.
Delicious. We ate dinner Friday evening. Service was superb. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. As it was our first time dining, she explained various dishes to us. The entire meal was excellent, from the wine to the dessert. My boyfriend ordered the meatballs and pasta and loved his meal. We look forward to returning and dining in the adorable courtyard this Summer.
