It was vintage and had potential, but once we examined the goods we were oh so disappointed. The place was filthy and I really just wanted to wash every surface in there. Food was quick, but it obviously came from frozen stock. I was expecting cute and homemade but I got dirty and premade. Such a let down.
Excellent Food & Service with 50’s Nostalgia!. Always wanted to try this place and finally got a chance. We had the burgers and giant hot dog. All were very good tasting. They even have a charbroiler to give the burgers that excellent taste! Our server was extremely nice and attentive! This place serves breakfast too, so we visited it the next morning and had a great tasting breakfast! Finally a local place that knows how to truly make hashbrowns, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and oh so buttery tasting. This little diamond in the rough just became one of our favorites…. Pics included!Enjoy!
Throwback!!!. I had heard good things about this southside institution, and this past friday, with my mother in tow, went in for lunch. It was a very busy time and we sat at the counter. I had the 1lb burger with fries, and she had the philly steak and cheese with fries. The burger was the size of at tire and was fully dressed. Friday night one server been here for an hr still no food…finally got it and it was so bad tasted all from frozen but it was edible…won’t go back
