These people KNOW their coffee. They are roasting the beans fresh and discarding them after a week. The beverage menu is international and broad in its focus; Drink in the style of the Spanish, Italians, Cubans or Mexicans to name but a few. They also offer many teas too. Baked goods like bagels or quich from Scholars Inn are also available.
Kaffeine is for true coffee aficionados, not just a place to come hang out for a bit, although it’s funky vibe is good for that as well. And, one person’s coffee snob is another person’s impassioned javanista (not sure that’s a word), coffee expert will suffice. Come to learn, experiment via your taste buds, and relax for a moment, or two.
Great authentic drinks just like in Europe. Their chai and royal milk is spot on. Their brewed coffee taste a whole world different since it’s freshly roasted. Barista told us beans are not used after 7 days. A must place for coffee addicts and for sure a destination coffee house.
Don’t waste your time trying this place! I have seen their truck a couple of times and decided to see if it was any good. The guy who owns it is a completely stuck up snob who thinks he has the best stuff around. I understand Starbucks isn’t the highest quality coffee, but I would rather go somewhere where I won’t get a lecture and made to feel guilty for buying other companies products. The drinks I got were ok, not worth the money or anything special. Best coffee shop I have found in Indiana is Greyhouse on Purdue campus.
