Absolutely the best fish and chips in Indy. Try the haggis – it’s an amazing chorus – not dissimilar from the ‘Jet Song’ scene from West Side Story. A hidden gem on Mass Ave.
Fun atmosphere and decor, warm and friendly staff, flavorful, hearty food and generous portions. Had the veggie haggis, peeps, and tatties. Really enjoyed my Dark and Stormy, too.
Stopped in for a quick drink and snack. We made a good choice! Our bartender/server was the fastest ever! Great service. The Scotch egg was perfect (though a good, grainy mustard would have been more appropriate than the aioli). Loved the huge onion rings, a.k.a. grease sponge rings, but delicious none the less. We’ll be back sometime for a full meal. Really enjoyed the open air seating up front.
