So I’m obsessed with sushi and always trying new places. Mikado was awesomeeeee!! A little on the pricier side for rolls but they were excellent and very flavorful. I would definitely suggest trying the sun roll! The atmosphere was also very relaxing and everyone was greeted as they entered. My server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely a must try!

Very good sushi! Atmosphere is very nice, waiter was very nice and polite. Had the sun roll, tiger eye, and mystery roll all very delicious. Like the menu says about the mystery roll don’t ask just order it’s worth it! Big plus for serving local craft beer selections. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu but I’ve been here a couple times and had a couple other things but the sushi doesn’t disappoint! Highly recommended if downtown for dinner.

Pass this one by. There was an aroma of bad seafood in the restaurant. Product was not fresh. Sushi chef not good. Overall, I have had worse but I have also had better at almost every sushi place I’ve been in the country. There must be better sushi places in the area and I would recommend finding a different one if you are eating in the area. Service was good though, friendly and attentive staff. They just need better food.

GO ELSEWHERE. Service was bad, food sucked, no taste, presentation poor, did not taste fresh. Go elsewhere.

Amazing! A bit pricey.. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant while in downtown Indianapolis on a trip at the beginning of November 2013. The service was spectacular and the decor was beautiful. The tables were comfortable and the mood romantic. There were very few people there, but it seems that the restaurants started to get busier later in Indy. We went around 5pm to eat and when we left, people were starting to arrive. It was quiet and we enjoyed the environment. I ordered a green tea, and it was average… nothing spectacular. We ordered a roll for an appetizer… I’ve been looking for the name on the online menu and cannot find it, but I have a picture below. It was called something PUFF. It tasted like a crab rangoon and that was the server’s words, so you can probably tell them that and they can figure out what you want. It was absolutely AMAZING. I loved that roll!!! So did my partner. I also got the organic greens salad with the peanut-miso dressing. It was splendid (picture below)! For my meal, I was unsure of what to get so I explained the types of sushi I liked and the great staff helped me out with making my own sushi. It was yummy. My partner got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls as his entree and said it was the best he’s ever had. I had one and it indeed was delicious. With all of that plus one soda for the boyfriend, we spent right at $50, which was a little pricey, but I suppose pretty normal for sushi including an appetizer roll. If I were back in Indy, I may go again and I would recommend it to others if they have the extra money to spend.
