Top 10 Best Cafe’s. I’ve lived in a lot of cities and states and Mo’Joe’s is one of the best coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of patronizing. When I first came out to Indy in the summer of 2013 to scout around I popped in for an afternoon cup and ended-up talking with the staff and owner for probably well over 20 minutes, wonderfully friendly and helpful (I was inquiring about the city & places to live).Now that I live here and when I’m downtown and need a buzz Mo’Joe’s is my main pick. Coffee & food are delish and prices are relatively decent (I say this merely because of the previous city I lived in was cheaper so I’m still getting used to the costs here).
We go there regularly and really like them. This coffee shop is on our way in to the IUPUI campus, and we stop there for morning coffee. It took them no time at all to remember what our order is, and to have the bottle of honey right up there on the counter. On cold days they warm up our refill mugs before filling them. If they’re out of something, they don’t just shrug and say they’ll have it tomorrow, they dispatch one of their employess to the downtown grocery and get a replacement STAT! It’s just those nice little things that make us look forward to being there.Plus, they have some yummy pastries, which we try very hard to ignore.
The wireless here is unparalled, great space for study, the coffee can be hit or miss to be honest
Cool place, good coffee, and awesome service. I went here for the first time after moving to Indianapolis, and let me say the service was AWESOME. The people who work there are really down to earth and were prompt w/ service. Not to mention a really cool place to lay low, listen to some great music and just sip on some hot mocha. Wanna chill out, check this place out. Especially on weekend nights, grab a beer and chat w/ about life with the barista!
I want to like it, but…. Coffee temperature is insconsistent, the scones are never fully baked (always raw-dough like in core center), and some people behind the counter are rarely friendly. I love the locale, wifi, etc… but I’ll just keep driving and grab something when I get to campus.
I love the atmoshere here and the variety of drink options. However, don’t try to order and be on your phone – they will not serve u. Ha, I agree it’s rude to be on the phone and order, apparently they do too & have the ability to do something about it! Just wanted to send the warning.
