Mead isnt my favorite, but the service was great. The bartender was very friendly and informative. He even explained to me the process of mead making. It would be nice if tastings were free, but the prices are reasonable.
The products are great! We first tried their mead as a guest tap way out in Chesterton, Indiana. Glad to see that the quality is consistently high. We found the storefront a little off-putting. But that’s easily overlooked. After all, the place WAS packed with a bunch of ladies having a bachelorette party in the middle of the day … so maybe the ambience wasn’t what it may be normally. They seem to have awesome events every week day. There’s one day when you can do a yoga class followed by a glass of mead. On another day, you can get a 10 minute massage and a glass of mead. So that’s awesome! We’ll be back a bunch more times. If we don’t want to stay in the store, we can just buy the product to go.
Everyone Needs to Try This Place!. I love New Day Meadery! The drinks are insanely good, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have games! Great place to catch up with friend, or to start your night out!
This was the highlight of a recent wine/beer trail my boyfriend and I went on. Of course, each stop was fun, this place was at the top. For $5 we tried ask six of their honey wines. They ask had snappy names, but more importantly, tasted delicious! I had never tried mead before so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into…and I don’t know if I’d like bottled sorts, but the cranberry lime and the currant were just tart enough, that you could almost think of them a cocktails (which they actually do with several of their wines).And I can’t say enough about Tia, who owns the place with her husband. She was so friendly and helpful. I tried a hard cider, and it was good, but the honey wines, sparkling and so fun, took the cake. We took home some of the live currant. This place is on my list of places to return. Highly recommended!

Love this place!!. I am sooooo glad that New Day Meadery has opened a tasting room in Fountain Square. The owners, Brett and Tia, are awesome people and make stepping in the shop a joy.The mead is all excellent, and we brought home a bottle of the Peach Mead to go with turkey this past Thanksgiving. Additionally, New Day offers some very tasty snacks to accompany a glass or perhaps a flight of mead.If you haven’t tried mead, you need to today at New Day.
