Great breakfast buffet! Beautiful hotel Thad t hel the CPCU conferment! We will have to try dinner, hopefully before we leave. Service was good!
Poor service. We experienced eating at Osteria Pronto on Wed. 8/27/14.Our server Jade was like a robot. No expression and totallyunengaged the whole time we were there. Ordered 2Long Islands and received 2 Bloody Mary’s. He then brought back 1Long Island and left the 2Bloody Mary’s at the table. So he still didn’t return with the second Long Island. We were charged for theextra drink even though it was the waiters mistake.He never refilled the rolls or the water. The pepper grinder was emptyAnd we handed it to the manager who was walking aroundhe brought back another one that was empty also. From previous reviews we didn’t realize that they charged for water. Food was ok but the poor service totally overshadowed the food.
I had the house salad and their version of eggplant parmigiana – absolutely delicious – nice bread and pesto dipping sauce. I’m not sure why this place has such a low rating – it was excellent
The whole experience was ok. I have been trying to drag my boyfriend here for months now so devour downtown seemed to be a perfect opportunity! We walked towards the host stand to be greeted by no one. We waited for about 5 minutes to be rushed past by a hostess who said she would be right with us. After another 10 minute wait on a slow evening we were seated at our table. Service was very slow but our waitress was friendly. I got the salmon dish which was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the lasagna; it was overcooked and the noodles were mushy. The bread was also way too hard to enjoy! Overall, not worth the price.
Not a good experience! We ordered an appetizer of crab cake and mushroom, crab cake had no taste, mushroom was good but small for a portabella. My husbands food was over cooked and had to send it back because sea food over cooked is not good! My veal medallions were very thin veal cutlets, sauce was good but my dinner was done before he got his back. I don’t think paying for water at an upscale restaurant is acceptable but they don’t tell you tea is included in your dinner price. Since I didn’t pay for water it seemed impossible to get a refill on my ice tea, I waited the whole dinner for a refill. Well after all that we didn’t even get the water free! Will never return again not worth the 100 we spent! Very disappointed!
Pretentious, Overpriced, and all around the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere… Hands down! First they charge you $1 for water, the wife had ice tea (which was free by the way). The menu misled you as to what exactly it was you were getting. I had a fish and sea food dish that was so overlooked it was in eatable (but the head chef personally remade my dish), by time I got my dish the wife was all done with her dinner. My wife who had the tea, had to wait until I was almost done with my dinner, before the waitress even asked her if she wanted a refill. The wine was good (I had a bottle) and the desert was so so, and the appetizer cab cake has no flavor or seasoning. But at those prices I was going to eat it regardless. And you think at the end of it all, I would have gotten a free desert or competed my $1 bottle of water… Nope nothing, just sorry here is you bill. Whole lot of smoke and mirrors for sub par experience!
The service was slow, it took half hour to get my salad with blue cheese dressing and the it did not have any dressing just blue cheese crumbles. The entree was way too salty. The others at our table thought so too. For the price I was very disappointed.
