Not terribly busy but never got waited on or acknowledged after waiting for quite awhile. Ended up leaving. First and last time for me!
We came here before the Pacer Game. It was a warmer day and they had the outside seating open and it was wonderful! They had my favorite craft beer on tap and the food was awesome. I had the short rib panini and my husband had the shrimp tacos. Perfect size and so delicious ! My husband was happy with the bourbon selection. Friendly waiter and the food was the best I have had in a long time. We will be going back!

My drink was super fresh and delicious (and I’m picky). I ordered a small smores dessert and it was AMAZING!! Exactly what I was craving 🙂 Then I was surprised that they gave me a bag of popcorn when we sat down, which was had a garlic flavor and yummy! Service was great and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy this great new swanky space!!
Beautiful cocktails, professional service, tasty treats and a swanky vibe. Stunning international design balanced with a fair share of locally sourced ingredients easily does Indianapolis proud. Looking forward to a return visit.
Elegant Atmosphere. I visited Plat 99 last night for the first time after the Pacers’ game and the place is fab! It isn’t annoyingly loud like other bars and had a really hip/zen environment. The drinks were priced accordingly for an upscale place like this and the wait staff were very attentive and kind. I’m in my 20’s but it felt like the majority of the clientele were older patrons (like retired), but perhaps they were staying at the hotel. The truffle oil popcorn is to die! The only issue I had was I went expecting that I could order food, but the kitchen closed at 11. I would have liked to have tried some of their menu items as well.
Ridiculous prices. Way overpriced…no wonder the place was almost empty. I don’t see how they can stay in business unless they make some changes.
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of contemporary food, atmosphere and classic cocktails, look no further!!! Small plates done to perfection with select meats from Indy’s own Goose the Market. Snuggle up on the couches and take turns picking your favorite lamp (there are 99 to choose from!)while enjoying a drink from some of the BEST bartenders in Indy (recently won the Indiana Landmarks USBG competiton, 4/27/13). Take a stroll through the Hotel Alexander and enjoy the various commissioned art installations, or pick from your favorite menu at Platt, created by local Indiana artists (try to figure out which bartender is responsible for this endeavor 😉 ) while you decide which desert will be better, the bte noir or the deconstructed s’more. Hands down one of the best up and coming hang outs for the adult crowd in Indianapolis!!
