I feel that the sandwiches are definitely overrated. Yes it is big portions and it will get you full, but it’s not anything exceptional that I’d want to go out of my way for.
I am absolutely floored by the 2.9 rating I can only assume it is due to the new restaurant with very few reviews. The food (by far the most important thing) is great. This is very likely a sandwich you’ve never had before and it is well executed. I did not visit on a busy evening but everyone was friendly and enjoyable. This is also likely the least expensive sit down meal you can get in any metropolitan area.
Drunk duck delicious, had the famous pastrami sauerkraut, fries, bbq sauce & cheddar cheese BURP, first timers and Sumo (nick name was a very well mannered personable waiter. Most definitely coming back.
Fries were hot and fresh! Classic Primanti’s sandwich was just as tasty! Only thing I didn’t like about the bread is it seems to break apart too easily! I ordered the new crispy chicken sandwich and the inside wasn’t cooked all the way. The staff quickly made me a fresh remade sandwich that was a lot better!! The dessert came and it was wonderfully delicious! The brownie was hot and tasty… almost like a molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream
Been twice. Staff nice. Nite manager is doing everything in his power to please the customers. The good: The Onion Rings are huge, golden crunchy rings. The Chili was tasty and rustic with a good meat to bean ratio. The Bad: The XX Hot Boneless Wings were not good. It was a combination of really rubbery texture and the lingering fear that they might have been a tad undercooked. I couldn’t tell. Should chicken be this texture? Not sure if it is made fresh in house or poured from a freezer bag into the fryer. Maybe I should just stick to the sandwiches, but I wanted a smaller lunch.
