I went here with a friend on a Saturday early evening. The staff, including the bartender were knowledgable and very friendly. The decor was interesting as was the music- old school hip hop. We ordered separate apps, I had the pula tan with avocado- delicious and very unique. I decided to order the crab cake for my main course. The flavored worked really well, cooked well, however the crab was not. The staff worked with me to accommodate no other meat, or meat products which was really nice. -I will go back knowing that. We both thought everything was wonderful including the cocktail and wine list!
Relocated from a smaller space in Fletcher Place, this, to me, has no similarity to the old place. Certainly bigger, different menu, better service with a contemporary decor. Sort of a limited menu and, I being a vegetarian, did not see much I could order. I suppose I could have made some special request. Anyway, I had the Beet Home Fries without the bonito. So good that I asked for a second order. Very spicy. Yum! My friend had the Sour Sausage Dumplings and Pig Face Hash, so now you get an idea of the menu. This is not a place to which I which I will return. Not their fault. I just need a different menu.
