Good, But Not Great. The burger I had tonight was good. It was $10. I don’t feel I received a $10 dollar value. When you spend $10 for a burger and potato chips I think you should expect a little bit more. The bun was half the size of the burger which made it difficult to eat. The good part was the meat and toppings. They were cooked well to order, and very tasty. I just walked away expecting a little more for the price.
I fell in love with Scratch Truck’s burger and fries this past summer and was very excited to have an opportunity to try it again today. Was disappointed that the fryer is still out, cause I loved the fries before. I held out hope that the burger was just as delicious as I remembered, but was disappointed after my first bite. Quality of the meat was not the same, and the burgers that were hand formed previously, seeme and tasted a lot like performed patties to me. I don’t mind a price increase, but given the chips instead of fries and the burger quality on top of that….Not sure when I’d go back.
