The view is amazing! I had a lemon drop martini and the wild mushroom and arugula pizza which was decent. Our waiter seemed a little inpatient that I was only getting a drink and appetizer. If I would go back it would be for the view!
Amazing View, exclusivity for a price, open to the public (most of the time). When I first did my research on the Skyline Club, I swear it required a membership to get into. Something along $5000 a year and then you got access to other Skyline Club’s located around the US. But when Community (South) Health System had their annual Christmas party up on the 36th Floor of the OneAmerica building, I was excited that it was my chance to finally get in. Then when I got to the top and chatted with the front desk lady and found out that the Skyline Club is actually open to the public for a majority of days out of the year. Turns out most all that is needed is a call a week or so in advance to see their availability. Upstairs is basically broken into three different rooms, one is the restaurant that I’m talking about, the other two are more like conference/special events room. The Christmas Party was in their biggest one facing north and there was a wedding in the glass-roofed east facing room. As for food, the hor’ derves we were served were pretty great and the bartenders were quick and efficient. Even if there were chicken strips on the buffet, they were still dressed up fancy with black and white sesame seeds. The restaurant also offers a large wine collection in special humidors (I swear that’s what they look like) that members can come up and choose from.Overall, the staff felt warm, unpretentious and welcoming. I would gladly light three, hundred-dollar bills on fire for the chance to dine up here in the future.
Absolutely the best service and atmosphere of anyplace we’ve eaten downtown. Every course was excellent. You must try the lobster bisque. Very quite and easy to have talk time with our 6:30 Saturday reservation.
Awesome! Romantic. Dinner was good and service was great. Beautiful view!
