Gues this is now the atomic cafe and its the basement where the bowling is at. I had the pulled pork nachos and they were really good! Pork, queso, sour cream and green onions simple but flavorful. Try with the raspberry chipotle bbq sauce. You wont be disappointed
Not the best or worst. My pulled pork had an odd aftertaste. The hush puppies were over cooked. The service was great and no complaints there. Definitely could use some cleaning and updating. It was really dark with not much lighting.
When I came into the smokehouse, the dining area was clean. I was seated and my order was taken immediately. My food only took about 10 mins to make. I got the sampler platter. Once i received my food, and started eating, i realized the food was amazing. Chrissy was my waitress, I couldn’t have had a better experience for my first time being there. Thank you to all.
I’m not sure what people expect – this place is awesome!. Maybe I have absolutely terrible taste, but I love this place. The smoky brisket, the sweet BBQ sauce, the delicious baked beans, the pulled pork, the krinkle cut fries, the fried biscuits with apple butter… They’re all really tasty. If you order an entree, you’re going to leave full and you’re not going to have to spend big money to make that happen. The location and deco are fun – it’s in the middle of Fountain Square and they’ve kept a lot of the old charm – and the service is totally acceptable for a casual atmosphere. I’d put this place far ahead of something like Squealers as it’s cheaper, the food is better, and it’s not in the middle of nowhere… Can’t wait to go back and try the ribs that everyone complain about.
Horrible. Top 5 worst dining experiences ever. Ribs came out looking burnt to a crisp. Brisket was dry and chewy. Served our appetizer at the same time as our entrees. Just hideous.
