Awesome Experience. From our hotel room I noticed a line of food trucks on Georgia St. Soon to find out about #foodtruckfriday we were drawn in. I have never eaten Indian food but for some reason was feeling adventurous and walked up to the Spice Box. The guy at the window was awesome! He helped me navigate the menu seeming not to be annoyed or rushed. I decided on the tandoori chicken tacos. They were very good. My palate didn’t know what to expect but the flavors and spices were not to uncommon like I anticipated. I thoroughly enjoyed Spice Box and would definitely come back when in Indy.

Addicted. We recently moved to Indy from NYC and never thought we’d find food comparable to the eateries from back home. I’ve had Indian food many times but it doesn’t compare to the stuff that comes from this food cart. In fact this maybe the most flavorful food I’ve had in a long time. My wife loves the vegetarian wrap and I can’t stop thinking about the butter chicken. Great to know good food exists in the Midwest!

Mislead. I was disappointed. I stood in line for at least 20 minutes only to find that the item I wanted was not available. They use a chalk board menu so they could have removed it or crossed it out (like they did another item as we waited). This item was the reason we decided to wait in line. I also specifically asked if the butter chicken was spicy. I was told no but when we ate it, it was. Not a problem for my son or myself but it was for my daughter. I did eat some of the butter chicken and it was dry. Overall the food is decent and I’m sure really good on the right day but after this experience I won’t be back.

Tasty. Wow, I never thought I would eat food from a truck let alone crave it daily. These guys know what they are doing, from the first time I visited the truck to each time after, they consistently serve delicious food food, and I don’t feel gross after I stuff myself(like most food I don’t cook myself). Yummo.

Wonderful experience. As a newbie as a food truckie, I was drawn to Spice Box because it was so different from all the other trucks. Not pizza or comfort food, it was a challenge. I was a bit of timid, sticking to the wraps, but was not disappointed. Very good flavor – spice, but not too much heat. The young men in the truck were friendly and fun – really adding to the experience. I may become a groupie of the food and the guys!

Delicious! I caught them at they were closing up and the gave me a box to go. Not only were the sauces very flavorful, but colorful and so fantastically hot. Can’t wait to try it again!
