Awesome. Had such a great time last night. Brett (hope I got your name right – lots of wine) was amazing. The food was great. We came in after work (kind of rough looking) and were still treated just the same. Thanks. Will be back soon! Filet pizza. yes…..
Vino!. Great location, atmosphere, and the small plates are just enough and not too heavy. The service is also quick, even when it is really busy.
Not organized. I took my gf there and there were broken machines, no moscato or a few other varieties available for tasting. I wanted to pay cash. They said that was ok but they needed a card to hold. Then took $42 off the card and collected $40.00 cash from me when it was time to pay the bill. My bill came to $33 and some change but paid $82. When I tried to call them to explain the situation I got a run around. The manager was in a meeting. Then it turned into the manager had the day off. I asked if anyone else could help me and All I got was Lisa and I are the only people here. The only thing I can do is send an email. No accountability at this establishment as they ripped me off. Don’t pay cash or better yet don’t go!
Good Restaurant, TERRIBLE Service. Tastings is a pretty good place to grab a glass or tasting of wine and relax. The food is okay, nothing special but can will hit the spot if you are hungry. However, the service is absolutely terrible! My significant other and I went there this evening for wine and dinner. We order wine and 2 dishes. An hour later and several glasses of wine, still no food, even though people who had come in 30 minutes after us were already finishing their meals. The waitress, Kierra, who is hands down the worst server I have experienced, made up some lie about giving our food away. The food finally came 30 minutes later, a cheese plate and entree. The cheese plate came with 10 small crackers for 4 different cheeses, which would barely cover 1 cheese, let alone 4. It took me another 15 minutes to get her attention, during this time she actively avoided us. Finally, we got more crackers, but she charged us for the addition crackers, $2. Never once did we get an apology for the late food or the, what is an understatement, terrible service. I understand being busy, but to completely disregard a customer is beyond me. Hopefully Tastings fires this unfortunately person because we would like to go back.
Loved this place. The service was excellent! The good was excellent – we ordered the white flat bread, the chicken pesto flat bread and a cheese plate. The flat bread 100% better then the pizza at California pizza place across the street. If I ever come back to Indy, I’d go here again. —Can back in 2016 and still was very happy with this place. The we went they even had a music and she was awesome. We like good jazz. We hot the cheese platter and was very happy with it. Servie was very good and friendly.
Love How It Works!. I love Tastings! You can pick a little bit of whatever you want! It is a very neat concept, the wines are delicious. I def reccomend a cheese plate, I know it sounds simple, but I love the fresh cheeses
Meh……. Since this place has opened, my fiancee and I have been dying to try it out. As soon as we had our little baby girl and got a babysitter for the evening we did just that. I was a little disappointed. Actually, we both were. It was a super-hip atmosphere and we could tell that this is where a lot of the downtown business people went after a long week at work. There were a ton of people there. I wish that our waitress would have explained the tastings to us and described the menu a little more to because I think that it would have been something we would have loved. We just got a cheese tray with different cheeses of our choice and a glass of wine each. We sat on a comfy couch and watched as the chef behind the bar area flirted with other waitresses that picked up thier orders. I am definitely willing to try this place again and I know we probably will give it another chance, but not on a Friday night. A night that isn’t so busy or maybe sometime for lunch would be a better time to go for the first time to this kind of place.
