I was looking for something close to my hotel that wasn’t fast food and that I would be comfortable and find great food. I hit the nail on the head here. A cozy yet open concept. I like the layout of the place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming ( I find this a challenge sometimes as a single female taking up a high top). I started with asking the waitress what she suggested and ordering a Chardonnay. She suggested several choices but when she mentioned the yellow fin I had seen on my first glance I went for that with the side Cesar. The salad was good, a bit strong on onion or garlic I’m not sure which and a bit lacking on the anchovies but I like the salty fishiness they lend to the Cesar. The yellow fin with the crab Rangoon and bbq bok choy was out of this world!! In between that amazing course and dessert they didn’t snicker at my request for pickled ginger to finish my Chardonnay ( I love this pairing). The crme brle with the mocha martini was a great way to end out the meal. I’m a big fan of a crme brle that hits just the right amount of eggy, sweet and crispy. This one hit all of the right notes. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
