I had The Pita Pit for the first time this weekend at the behest of my husband who works downtown and goes regularly. My sons had the prime rib which they ate in no time flat. I had a turkey with all the veggies and my husband had falaffel with hummus. All of them were very tasty and the grilled meats were very flavorful. The pita bread was also really good. I enjoyed it so much that I tried to get my husband to go again the next day. My family will be back and probably often.
The Falafel is great! tasty, huge and filling!
One word: AWESOME. I tried Pita Pit for the first time today and I have to say, it is awesome. I had the falafel with hummus and it was better than I could have every imagined. I was so stuffed after I ate it I had to take the rest with me. This will be a frequent lunch spot for me!
Average. The interior was bland and dirty, the service was horrible. Went there on the afternoon of October 8 around 1:30 and the guy that was there seemed pleasant but the female was so wretchedly unhappy and bitter so could not hide her feelings. She made us feel like we were too stupid to eat there. Even after she screwed up my pita she was all angry at me. The guacamole was bland, as was the hummus. They charge extra for everything making my $10 pita way over priced. Good concept, poorly executed. Fail.
I work right next door and Ive stopped in a few times for lunch. This is a much healthier option compared to the other lunch options in the area but it certainly isn’t the best. For appoximemtly $7.50 you get a decent meal that will fill you up and won’t give you eaters remorse
Look into your other options. The food is alright, specially seeing how you can have it just about any way you’d like.The staff and management whoever has a major competency issue. I have never had an order arrive in the time frame they give. They do offer up a wide variety of excuses for why they can’t give you your order though. These offers are not listed on their menu.tl;dr Food is good, serves is awe-inspiritingly terrible.
I usually only have gyros at state fair time. I ordered the gyro pita today from Pita Pit with spinach, onion, tomato, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce. It was full of flavor and freshness. This will definitely be a regular lunch spot for our office! (Squish Designs)
