Local, progressive and communal for all. For the past year I have been bringing countless friends and family here! From local art lining the walls and the library-like decor to the local brew and mood lighting, the baristas at Thirsty Scholar provide excellent customer service and make delicious drinks. I come at least once a week to do homework or meet up with a friend. I have had meetings, dates and study sessions here! I have even brought my parents and younger sibling! This is s great place for any person of any age. I have never been to a place like this before and truly enjoy every experience I have here. I recommend this progressive and communal place to any and every one. Bonus is that the prices are affordable and there is complimentary wifi.

Nice place. Spent the day with the owner recently at the Thirsty Scholar. Great guy with easy conversation. The place is very warm, comfortable, and inviting. I would suggest this place to anyone that is in the area that is thirsty and has a quest for knowledge 🙂
Quaint Place. Students, Bohemians, Hipsters- my kind of people. Nice Staff. Intelligentsia Coffee brand out of Chicago served.
Chicago in Indy. Great change of pace from the usual overly trendy drinking place. Marble tables w wrought iron bases….real candles,good choice of drinks. The place is a top 10 best bar in town. One suggestion would be to add a burger and steak frites or something to the snack menu. Would have stayed another couple hours but needed dinner.
I love this place ! Going there every morning makes my day. Not to mention their muffins are amazing!
Awesome neighborhood vibe, great atmosphere, good service and beer selection AND dog friendly outdoor seating. We’ll definitely be back!
