This place has a really nice ambiance. Upscale casual. Thestaff was great. I had high expectations when I saw the menu however I was letdown a bit.I had the wood fired chicken with ancient grains and radishsalad. My partner had the duck with blue corn pancake, pork and pineapple. Mydish was $24There was a boneless breast and thigh.the salad was just agarnish on top. The chicken was overcooked and chewy. It had decent flavor, but it should have beenso much better. The ancient grains were really great and the salad was tasty. My partner had the duck.a very small duck breast for $26.It was cooked perfectly and had wonderful flavor. However, the pancakes werenot blue, were hiding under the small breast so they were small too.everythingabout this dish was just too small! My partner was still hungry afterwards! No bread came with the dinner or salad (I think that wouldseriously help justifying the price). Ive never seen a place be so attentivein keeping your water glass full. We had a chocolate pain perdu for dessert with bourbongelato and vanilla cream. This was very good for $8.I couldnt help but feel I way paying more for the dcorthan the food.
