This was one of the best dinners. Chef Layton knows how to do it right. Try the four course dinners you will not be disappointed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere but the food and service are the stars of the show. One of Indy’s best restaurants!

We went with the 6 course Chef’s Choice. Amazing! Tilapia, Pork Belly, Beef, doughnuts. A blur of fantastic small plates. Paired with wine or liquors for each course. They also were cool with gluten free adjustments for our party. Not to be missed!

Partly using the old Amici’s space, this is a great addition to fine dining in a casual atmosphere. There are two main sections, as well as a banquet space upstairs and with what looks like will be a patio area in the front.. We sat in the bar side, which was a little noisy but okay for just four people. If you have a larger party I recommend you use the more formal side. The decor is contemporary with an open kitchen and the herbs they use are on display on a kitchen wall. Our server, Amanda, gave us the best service we have had in a long time. Just outstanding! My wife and I are a server’s nightmare, as I am vegetarian plus do not eat eggs, and she is allergic to garlic and spicy stuff. Dinner started with an amuse-bouche which I could not eat, but Amanda persevered and brought me a vegetarian version. I had the entre size Mixed Grain Salad ($20), which I liked a lot. My wife had the Tagliatelle Pasta ($25) which was very flavorful and Amada brought the egg on the side so that I could try the pasta. The chef also provided a fava bean puree without garlic for the sauce. For dessert, we shared the Coffee Bavarian. It was delicious.Good wine list, also. They also provide wine pairings and a chef’s tasting, five course dinner. I predict that this will be another go-to restaurant, as are Cunningham Group’s Union 50 and Mesh. Another thing I liked is that they had two uni-sex bathrooms, a feature I would like to see in other restaurants.

This particular restaurant was not on this site to even review the previous 2 times I visited. What I will say is there was absolutely nothing to complain about and it was a wonderful dining experience. The service was impeccable, the place is warm, great acoustics, and the food was yummy delicious. I suggest ordering a few apps and sharing to taste more than one. The bartender knows his stuff as well and they have some awesome specialty cocktails! We went here again with a party of 8. We were seated upstairs and our servers were very attentive. Out of 8 people, I can safely say everyone enjoyed the app’s, and the entree’s. My one friend did have dessert and he stated it was delicious. The wine and cocktails were delish as well. I would recommend this spot. I think the prices are on point with the service, food, and atmosphere.
