Decent but nothing exceptional going on here. Great atmosphere but the food is not up to that level. There’s much better options downtown if you’re wanting a steak.
Having another bad foodie night in INDIANAPOLIS …went to WEBER steak house… disaster of a chain, my appetizer was the baby back ribs; The bones were so hot I couldn’t touch them and the meat was cold…microwave gone wrong!!! I left.
I had a nice Christmas Eve lunch here. The side Caesar Salad was fresh, the romaine lettuce crunchy and had nicely toasted croutons on top. The Chili of the day was warm and meaty; filled with Texas Brisket and fragrant chili spices. The skirt steak used in the teriyaki glazed Steak Skewers was very tender and cooked perfectly.
Stopped in for drinks and had great service. And very nice mixed drinks the food was good and the restaurant was clean and fun. Big menu with lots of choices.
Tonight at the Weber Grill in Indianapolis, I have had the best meal served from this place. I ordered the boned-In pork chop with mashed sweet potatoes and cooked spinach! I ate all of it!!! It was better than anything I’ve ever have had at the Weber Grill! They also do a nice job with gluten free items! My wife ordered the bar-b-que brisket and pork with mashed potatoes! She really enjoyed her meal as well! The Weber Grill works hard at being careful not to cross contaminate food for people with allergies! Last night, my only complaint would be that the bar was moving drinks a little slow! However, the servers and bar staff are very kind! The Weber Grill is one of our favorites for special events! They tend to do a little better when they are busy!
Ambiance was nice, food was good but did not meet the expectations of food grilled like it came from the backyard grill. Service was good. Waiter did not bug us and recognized that we were taking our time and enjoying a leisurely dinner with old friends.
I was let down with this place because we have passed by the whimsical front entrance so many times that we were expecting a lot more life to everything! Sadly though I don’t think the restaurant knows if it wants to be fancy or fun. As for the food, we ordered barbecued ribs and chicken and we got tiny portions of meat covered in super sweet generic sauce. The sides were also quite the laugh because they tasted like mass-produced cafeteria style. I don’t even want to keep typing because it just isn’t worth the effort.
