What can I say, we loved everything we tried. After being at the hospital, I randomly found this place on a whim. My husband had their chicken and waffles plus fried potatoes. I sampled his meal and we both loved it. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. I got the country scrambler. It has bacon, sausage, ham, red potatoes, eggs, and cheese. It also comes with a side of sausage gravy. Yum to the max! Did I mention my meal came with pancakes? I’ve had skillet/scrambles before and the flavors were hit or miss, not at Yolk! Yolk will definitely have our business again. While husband is an egg fan, he was full when we left. Friendly staff and our waitress was great!

Came for brunch on a Sunday. Food wasn’t great, and service was not good at all. Kids Mac and cheese tasted okay but the portion was tiny. Potato pancakes were heavy on onions and only cooked on one side- more hash browns than pancakes. I ordered a side of corned beef hash and never received it, but the waitress didn’t come back to our table until we were finished eating so I cancelled it. She came to the table three times the whole time we were sitting. It wasn’t the worst brunch we’ve had, but we won’t be returning.

Oh so good and worth it!! My husband and I went on a Sunday at noon and we waited only 10-15 minutes to be seated. (If you are willing to sit at the bar the wait was even less.) He ordered one of the eggs benedicts with chorizo, I had a Texas scramble with chicken. Both entrees were big, beautiful, and delicious. Our selections came with fruit and diced potatoes, mine also had a choice of breads or pancake. We were so incredibly overwhelmed with quantity and quality that we were planning our next visit and meal as we ate! Oh, and the coffee was fresh and brilliant with hints of cocoa. We will see them again in 2 weeks. I will be trying the bacon waffle with fried chicken…!

We ordered 2 of the All Stars, one with pancakes and one with French Toast. Well worth the price. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausage links, and 2 pancakes for under $10. Two meals feed our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Food tasted great and the service was just as good. We will definitely be dining at Yolk again.

The coffee was good…. Eggs Benedict is one of my all-time favorite meals, but don’t order it often because it is so rich. So I’m pretty picky about it when I do order it; I was pretty underwhelmed with Yolk’s:1. Eggs were overcooked; yolks not runny.2. Hollandaise was fairly tasteless.3. Canadian bacon was very tasteless.4. English muffin not toasted enough.5. Potatoes, meh, pretty bland and under-seasoned; I could take them or leave them.6. Melon not ripe, hard. But, as mentioned, the coffee was very good. When my waitress came to clear my plate, I thought she would ask if anything was wrong when she saw I hardly ate anything, but she just took the plate and left the check. On the other hand, when I went to pay, the cashier (I think he was one of the managers) asked if everything was okay. Since he asked, I told him the truth. (Had he not asked, I just would have written it off as another disappointing Indy dining experience, paid the check, and been done with it.) He comped my check and asked me to give them another shot, so I will. It just goes to show that a little bit of customer service can go a long way to improve a less than stellar experience, so I will go there again and try something else. That all being said, and to give them the benefit of the doubt, I won’t give Yolk a thumbs up or down until I try them again.

Yolk has become one of my favorite breakfast spots in Indy with just one visit!! The menu is huge and the prices are fair! I got the bacon waffle which comes with two eggs. The waffle was studded with bacon and absolutely wonderful! My friend got the 2x2x2 combo which has to be one of the best deals there! So much food! Our waitress was very helpful, attentive, and kept the coffee coming!

Brunch for Two. This restaurant is in the City Way complex and is open for breakfast and lunch. We were downtown and decided to give it a try. This is their only location outside of the Chicago area. The menu selections are many and has lots of vegetarian options for me. The service, provided by Ian, was very good. The first serving of coffee was lukewarm so Ian cheerfully replaced it. I ordered the Cheesy Egg Sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were not hot and seemed to have been sitting around for a while. To spice up the potatoes, ask for a side of salsa and mix it in. My wife had the Breakfast Wrap with fruit and rates it an 8 out of 10. This is in a large space and looks like it can accommodate large groups. The decor is bright and the large windows help with the overall ambiance. Also, the restrooms were clean! We will return.
