Service was terrible, they are understaffed and our server clearly didn’t want to be working. We all left a 20% tip and he took the checks, looked at the tip started shaking his head and looked back at us clearly unsatisfied with the tip. We should have tipped less than 20 but we are kind!
Cheesecake. Spectacular dessert…can I get the recipe?
Fair prices and decent food. First and foremost, if you want to eat at a place overlooking the Ohio River, this one will satisfy you. Make sure you ask for a table with a water view as there are many tables that do not have the view. There are seats inside as well on a large outdoor deck. The menu is a little short, but there are still plenty of items, beef, chicken and fish. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Prices are in line with any pub type restaurant. A family of four will set you back around $50, but the great view makes it worth it. The service was okay, but not spectacular… a common theme among the reviews. The building is updated and clean with a comfortable waiting area. Overall, not someplace we would drive a long way for, but will definitely return to the next time we pass through Louisville.
Left hungry. Wanted something new so tried it here on a whim for lunch and it was forty dollars wasted; was waitress’ first day on the job and she dd fine but food we had was substandard. I had the hot brown, it was gross and didn’t finish it just ate the bacon and tomato on it, companion played it safe and had the chicken fingers, out of a bag, obviously. Our queso and chips appetizer was pretty good but only got a small bowl of it for 8 bucks, had to check and make sure we didn’t get a half order instead! Bad decision on our parts, Won’t be back.
Not really good. I have been here twice, the second time dinner was on the house to make up for the first time when it took 1 hour to get our food, the second time was just as bad. we had to ask to get drinks, ask to get bread, and ask to order. I had the fire on the mountain burger which tasted like a regular cheese burger with Frank’s red hot on it. The fries were cold and from a frozen bag. My wife had the chili Mac, and it was very gritty and oiley, obviously from using sub-standard cheese. I don’t think we will be back. food is mediocre and service is terrible.
A wonderful experience. The steaks were perfect and if you like mushrooms and onions on it, this place is the bomb!!! Wide selection of beers and a beautiful view on the river front.
Just Not the Same. We have been here twice since the fire and its not the same… the food is always cold and the server all gets our order wrong. Both times we had different servers and they forgot our salads. they always seem like they are on drugs also and that alone makes me not want to bring my family.
