Can’t say I’d ever go back, fish was greasy and WAY over cooked. There was a very bad odor in the place, smelled like they were having sewer issues and the lady taken my order groaned when I ordered an oyster, last chance at my money.
Great Fish…period. The portions are huge and the fish is great. Everything is deep fried – how can you go wrong? It’s lightly breaded, so healthy eaters can just pull of the breading and still have a decent size meal. Both locations are in buildings that are pretty old looking that would be unappealing to most (its a dive) – but don’t let that fool you. It may be old, but it’s clean. Go at lunch and your probably going to wait at least 15+ minutes in line and guaranteed you won’t find a table. Call it in and pick it up (I would suggest that anyway – or you’ll smell like fried fish when you leave). Again the portions are very large. A large fish sandwich is around $6.00 and can seriously make 2+ sandwiches elsewhere. You can’t go wrong with their fried oysters, fried cauliflower, fried mushrooms, or the clams either. Go ahead, give it a chance – you won’t be sorry.
