Need to review their help. Decided to stop there tonight (5/13/14 7pm) and have supper, only one other person in the place. Our young waitress seated us then came back after a few minutes and took our order. I ordered a soft drink, cup of soup, sandwich and fries. My wife ordered water, a small salad and their chicken stir fry. She got her salad right away while I waited on my soup. After 10 minutes, she finished her salad and we waited on my soup. Never showed! Our waitress finally brought our food and I noticed there was still no soup, I reminded that I had ordered it before hand but now that our diner was here, I did not want it. Remember we were the only ones in the place because the other person had eaten and left. The whole time we were eating, she never once came back to see if we needed refills so I had to finish my dinner without another refill. We got up paid our bill and the waitress was miffed because we did not leave a tip!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, the chef cooked us a wonderful diner, the food was excellent. I just think we should have been treated better, it was not like the place was packed and she was being worked to death. If and when we go back, if she is still a waitress there, we will leave and find another Maria’s.
They have wonderful food but the facilityhas gotten so broken down and dirty. Maybe a call to Restaurant Impossible would help?
Meth head waitress. The food has always been really good, but we had a waitress that made everything very uncomfortable. She asked very personal questions and then proceeded to call us hillbillies.
Everything was fantastic! Pancakes, monte cristo sandwich, and hobo skillet were all dynamite. Excellent service…especially since it was packed on a Sunday morning.
Good food friendly service. Good breakfast food good portions great price love the friendly service.Only thing is they need to change restaurant name n exterior interior decor.
Great homestyle food and fun service. The portions were huge! Dont,let the dated atmosphere fool you..this place is yummy.. Coffee couldve been stronger however
I’m still on the fence about Maria’s. Service is always friendly but the food is never consistent. Sometimes it’s fantastic but other times its very sub par.
