This place is a hidden gem! We love their bulgogi bipimbap. Service is spotty. Sometimes they are lighting fast and other times it’s slower. They have half-priced sushi on Tuesday nights, which is great! But plan to wait awhile if you go in at peak dinner time.
I love Sushi Don!. They are always so kind to my family and I love the range of vegetarian dishes. From maki to bibimbap, it’s all super delicious. I personally love the kampyo sushi. 😀
5 star for lunch or dinner. Fast!. Salmon Avalanche is perfect for those deep fried soft texture suchi lovers. A small hint of spicey mayo like sauce.
Came here on a Saturday and got 30% off our rolls. The black dragon and OMG roll are purely amazing. Great service and great prices. These southerns will be coming back!
5 stars. Easily one of the best places to eat in Greater Lafayette. If you like more authentic non-American food, this is a place for you. Squid in spicy red pepper sauce, served with several condiments, was perfectly executed. Servers well trained. -Papa Steve
Absolutely amazing. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. I travel a lot, and always seek a good sushi place. This is definitely in my top three! The mountain roll, super OMG roll (they set it on fire!), and the bibimbap is amazing. Whoever gives a bad review has no idea what they are talking about!
Never again!. Today was our third visit since changing from Gaza 2 to Sushi Don. First visit was amazing service, perfect sushi, and a complimentary roll. Second visit was terrible service, decent sushi, and a voucher for a free roll on our next visit. Third visit was the table before us walking out for not being served in a reasonable time, us waiting 20 minutes to have our drink order taken, being told our free roll vouchers were discontinued, and being warned there was an extreme wait for sushi orders. We canceled our drink orders and went to Maru where we are always pleased with the food and the service.
