Incredible Delicious. Started coming to Papas about a year ago and even after moving 30 minutes away it is my favorite breakfast place! The pancakes are full of flavor!
Love Papa’s waffle breakfast. Best waffle ever ! ! Did I mention Bacon done to perfection ? We love Papa’s
Love Papas. They poach eggs like nobodies business.
Still great after all these years. I think they have been open 40 years or close to it,and their food is still as good as it ever was.I have tried most everything on their menu, but breakfast is their specialty. My wife gets a huge waffle with ice cream and strawberries, and I always have eggs with a meat, and their baked cheese grits.Let me tell you there is no place in Indy that serves baked cheese grits, and these are the bomb.We don’t live very close to Papas anymore, but whenever I get anywhere close to it,I always stop in for a bite.
Amazing food! This place…. Amazing food! Papa’s has everything you need when you crave the traditional diner fare. The good is delicious, hot, and fast. The prices are great and the portions large. Papa’s has become a weekend ritual for my wife and I.
Great atmosphere. Papa’s is an old school diner. Food portions are huge and reasonably priced. Waitresses are friendly and remember you after just a couple of visits. The owner is often on site and makes the rounds to chat with you. Try the Belgian waffle for breakfast or whatever the special of the day might be. Parking can be a challenge since the widening of Pendleton Pike, but you can usually find a spot with patience. Enjoy!
I stopped in and ate breakfast at Papa’s about two weeks ago looking for a quick meal, what I found was a trip to the Twilight Zone. I was by myself so I sat at the bar for quick service. First off, this place was filled with haggered servers who act as if you’re bothering them when trying to order your meal. Not to mention, the two cooks and the entire wait staff stared at me while I ate my food. By this time I was completely nervous and ready to get out of there asap. The food was awful, period. They have all of the well known breakfast favorites you’re used to served with poor quality and taste. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
