Our Family Favorite. Last summer, we moved from southeast Indy to Noblesville. We rarely have a reason to be in Indy anymore, but occasionally we’ll drive back in to visit Papa’s. Because its about 25 minutes away now, we don’t go often, but they actually remember us every time. They are still as sweet as ever to my daughter. They don’t get nearly as much business as they should. Everything I have ever had there is more than delicious. Perhaps it’s the location? The pancakes are the best. They are sweet and fluffy! They make their own maple syrup and it’s to die for. It’s actually so delicious that I make sure to leave a little pancake so that they give me a side to take home. The french toast is so good that it doesn’t need syrup at all, just the bit of powdered sugar it comes with. My daughter is the pickiest eater ever, but for the first time ever, she had only a few bites of her french toast left. My absolute favorite is the Texas skillet with jalapenos. It even comes with a side of pancakes. It’s way to much food for one sitting, but who doesn’t like having leftovers?28 Feb, 2014First visit. I decided to stop in at Papa’s because I wasn’t impressed with my closer option (blueberry hill) and I had some time to kill this morning. I’ll definitely be back. The waitresses are incredibly sweet and attentive. I brought my 16 month old daughter and they gave her tons of attention. They have plenty of options on the menu and great specials. I got the texas skillet and loved it. The pancakes were great too, especially since I ordered them with strawberries and whipped cream. I’m thinking i might make this my go-to breakfast joint. I guarantee by my 3rd visit they will remember me, and possibly even know my name. It’s that kind of place.
