Stopped in to pick up a breakfast buffet to go. Got my standard carry out styrafoam container which i put 3 biscuits covered in gravy a scoop of fried potatoes scrambled eggs 2 sausage links a 1 sausage patty along with 2 cinnamon rolls. The container closed easy was not over full, picked up 2 small welchs juices and went to pay and was told the total was $28 and change i questioned this and the staff was rude and said i had enough food to feed 4 people which i didnt. The buffet is 6.99 a person i refused to pay for this. I stop in there with my wife and both of us together will usually get 3-4 biscuits covered in gravy fried potatoes, bacon, pork chops, fruit, eggs, cinnamon rolls and pancakes along with a large tea and 2 bottles of juice. All this under $20 and i can say what we have would never fit in one of those containers. This is a major rip off. I refused to pay and wont be going back!
Jan. Used to go to holt’s after playing golf and enjoyed it. Last two times, it took forever to get food. I know it’s not a fast food place but it was not busy and took over thirty minutes for cheesburger. Dont know if something going on as dinner hours have been done away with.
