Food was good, service was terrible. We tried to figure out why the prices were so high and are still left wondering. The restaurant itself is crummy looking at best (inside and out), the menu was handwritten in some places where old items were no longer available. We had to ask for every single refill, we had to remind our waitress for several things…my wife’s initial drink, a 5th seat (we had 5 in our party, 3 more pairs of chopsticks, all 5 forks…all that after asking her for these things when we sat down. Here’s the big indicator, we were the ONLY people there. That’s should have told us something wasn’t going to go right. Even with only 1 single table to wait on, the waitress failed miserably.
For the nearest sushi place around, this place isn’t bad. I highly recommend the Mars Roll and spicy shrimp roll. I usually get take out and it’s pretty consistent. Lunch is a great bargain.
My father and I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Originally it was a fantastic restaurant, and Sophie, the main waitress, was fantastic, along with her soft-spoken brother. However, recently there has been a change in staff, and they are the furthest thing from fantastic. They were rude, they cared little about helping customers, and they even belittled us and yelled at us in Chinese. We simply asked for something to drink after waiting at least 25 minutes for our initial drink order. Consider us no longer loyal customers.
