I realize this will be viewed as heresy in some quarters but Mann’s Grill is overrated. Sure, they give you huge amounts of food but it’s nothing special. Doesn’t seem very clean in there either.
I was not overly impressed with food. The service was good. We were full when we left. My catfish was over cooked, but husband’s was not. Sadly due a waitress saying a racial slur with various families around of color, we will not be returning. All other employees were friendly and welcoming.
Always a fun place to eat! Down to earth good food. Friendly people. Say hi. They’ll like you too. B&G. Bacon! Good way to start the day!
Keep this in mind. This is cheap food. Not inexpensive, cheap. With that in mind, know that this is a place that caters to the working man. That being said, they do it right. Large portions for $7.50. You won’t find this much food for such a low price anywhere. And it’s good. I had the Mann’s beef with mash. Not only was the portion huge, it was all beef, and it was delicious. I’d eat here often if I were local. Service was also super fast.
I’ve heard so much about this place.. Just had to try it.. For $8 I was served a ginormous plate of beef Manhattan with potatoes and gravy. My boyfriend received 3 large pork chops fried for the same price. Good food at a great price. The satisfaction percentage speaks for itself
Good food. Great waitstaff. Don’t expect much to look at in terms of the decor but I feel thats what makes it awesome. Reminds me of my truckstop diner back home! 🙂
