Wow! Easily the best meal we’ve had in Indy so far! The food and presentation was incredible. Our waiter, Casey, was excellent. We will be back. We had corn soup, boar bolognese, duck trio, and donuts.
Great Food- Average Service. I have eaten here several times. The food is always great but the service is a little off. Always have to ask for water and the check. Love the restaurant but they need to work on the service.
Best value lunch in the city. Wed night is 1/2 price bottle wine night…..also best value in city. I only go Wed nights and sit in bar or for lunch. Last time I had dinner it was lots of $$$$$ and little value. Still I love the room and the location.
Too Bad. Ding Dong the chef is gone. What a difference a chef makes. Holy Cow. I took some clients to Meridian after bragging about how great it was. Tepid soup with too much salt, mushy gnocchi, over cooked meat, and when I asked the flustered waiter what happened, he reluctantly admitted Dunville was gone. Pity. It will probably be a Butler hangout soon, but it’s no longer fine dining.
Loved the low lights and cabin feel at the Meridian. The food was awesome too. We had a house salad, the maple dressing was yummy. My fianc had the smoked corn pure and we loved it, perfect for a cool evening. We shared the seafood bouillabaisse and the scallops where cooked perfectly! We’ll be back for sure!
Excellent. Love everything about Meridan. The food is excellent, wonderful service and lovely dining room and earthy bar. We enjoy eating in the bar and our dining experiences have never been disappointing. One of my favorite restaurants in Indpls.
Very Disappointed. I wasn’t happy with my experience here. We called ahead to check on the menu since no vegetarian meals were offered. The man on the phone explained they’d be happy to turn one of their appetizers, I believe the Potato Gnocchi, into a vegetarian dish. We each ordered drinks and split a salad before our entrees came. The drink was made very, very strong so I had to send it back. The salad was ok. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything I haven’t had before.When our entrees came out, my boyfriend loved his and I began regretting ever going there. I just couldn’t stand it. I also couldn’t believe after telling me they’d work with me to make it an entree, that it was such a small portion and was so bland. To add to my frustration, it was my turn to pay for dinner, so imagine how happy I was to cover the $125 bill after all that.I will say our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that won’t be enough to bring me back.
