They’re back!. After being closed for several months, they re-opened a few weeks ago. The restaurant’s layout, the arrangement of food tables, the offerings on the buffet tables and the hibachi grill, the cooks, everything, … are identical! Even the gentleman that greets customers coming in the front door are the same. I can’t tell if the Asian staff are the same or not. ; ; ;23 Nov, 2014The West Indy-Lafayette location says East Location likely open in December. We couldn’t believe it closed, always busy with a lot of good food. So I called the West Indy location. The person answering the phone said it was closed due to kitchen trouble that needed maintenance. It would likely open in December. I hope he was correct, we really liked the place!BTW: I’ve been to the West Indy location several times. For some reason, the quality and freshness of the food is lacking.The only alternative I’ve found are Journey and Formosa, both much more expensive and on the North side.

Please Reopen SOON. Loved the food–Loved the Eastside location–Friends from northern Indiana drove there weekly to meet us for lunch and a visit. We’ve tried other places but nothing like Teppanyaki. Please OPEN SOON!!!!!
Love east side. Went to east side location many times with family and church loved it many good dishes very busy cant wait for it to reopen went to west side it was pk not as good
