We went here last weekend with 2 friends for a Holiday Meal. The place is quite unique with the barns, the creamery, etc. We were all satisfied with our meals and appetizers. I do think it is too pricey – it was very loud (which I have no idea how they could correct that), and my risotto was pretty bland. My partner had a steak, and commented it was good, but had better elsewhere. My 2 friends didn’t have many accolades about there selection either. The cheese plate was delicious as was the beet appetizer. We will go again, but for brunch, and would love to see the place once the snow gets here!

Don’t go for the farmers market as it is poor. If you don’t have reservations you will be treated as a third world immigrant particularly if your party includes children. You will be seated on an unscreened porch and it is a working dairy so flies are numerous where you will receive very slow service for extremely over priced organic dishes..

Awesome Cheese Plate!. This is a place that I try to visit every time I make it to Indy. My favorite thing that I’ve ever had there was their cheese plate! I’m anxious to try the charcuterie as well because I’m sure it’s just as fabulous!! Today I had the Farm Cheeseburger with bleu cheese and a side of the veggie of the day – kale and brussel sprouts. The veggies weren’t seasoned quite to my tastes – they had a citrus or vinegar flavor which I’m not much for. But the burger was great! The patty was wonderfully seasoned and smothered with a thick layer of cheese.I’ve sampled the ice cream in the past as well. I’m usually a chocolate fan, but I actually liked their strawberry ice cream more – it seemed to have a more intense flavor. From what I can tell, they always offer chocolate and vanilla and the other two flavors changes occasionally. Today they featured raspberry and caramel.

My family and I have had brunch here many times and loved the setting and food.Today I called at 2:15 and asked if they were still serving and was told yes until 2:30. We arrived at 2:30 and were shown to a table. After we had sat down a guy in a chefs uniform arrived and started talking to a neighboring table while staring at me. The waitress arrived and glared at us, no smile, no welcome. She proceeded to tell us what was no longer on the menu. When she returned with my coffee she informed us that we could only have ‘between bread’ food. When I asked her why we were being made to feel so uncomfortable she explained that the kitchen was closed. We were embarrassed and left the restaurant. They shouldn’t have seated us, they were very rude. Oh and then she returned to tell me that there would be no charge for my coffee and another girl turned up with beignets for us which was strange because we had already been told they were off the menu. We left the restaurant as quickly as we could. The whole sorry experience was unnecessary, if they were closed then they shouldn’t have seated us.We are not going back any time soon.

Valentine’s Dinner. We have enjoyed other evenings at the Loft and always enjoyed the great variety of menu items. We went to Valentine’s dinner tonight and found the limited menu disappointing and over-priced. The portions were very small, and no side items were offered. Had we been aware of the limited menu tonight, we would have chosen another place for this price range.

Amazing!. From the cheese board to the cider pork chops to apple pie and icecream… Everything was amazing! Ask for Bryan, his advice was perfect and his friendly service was much appreciated.
