I’ve been visiting Michigan City for work quite often over the last ten years. I always dine at the MC RL. Service and food are always great. Sometimes the servers recognize me even after a few months in between visits. On work trips that require I stay several days or a week, I dine here almost every day. MC RL is always the first place I stop after my 5 hour drive from home to MC. It’s a great place to relax and unwind after that long drive.

Salad, Plenty of rolls, Potatoes of my choice Usual butter, lemons and sauses!Full portions, only difference was the paper plates. Got Exactly what I paid for and was shown in photos!Don’t hesitate to order to go!22 Oct, 2011Seafood. Other than I can’t afford the lobster everything else has always been great!
Never again. My wife and I went there to celibate our anniversary. Service bordered almost non existent. Had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated at 4:00PM on a Wednesday evening. They seated a number of people that came in after us, before us. The table next to us, their server was at their table 11 times, compared to the 3 total visits we had. I had the Ultimate Feast and everything on the plate was atrocious. Lobster extremely salty and tough, crab legs cold, Walt’s fried shrimp, cold, greasy, bottom side breading was white and soggy the shrimp was all mushy I would not eat them, most of shrimp scampi was tolerable – but it was at least hot. The butter for dipping was barely in a liquid stateand it was not clarified. After we paid our check and where getting ready to leave our server offered to replace the fried shrimp.
