Wow. Definitely worth the trip away from blue chip casino. Excellent food. Simple. Well prepared. Family feel to the place and super friendly. Only three tables so a casual place. Authentic Italian and I’ve been to Italy many times!
Went there Labor Day weekend. Great people! Food was very good, fresh, high quality . We were very pleased. We will be back.
The Real Deal. The food here is amazing. After several trips to Italy my wife and I agreed that the food at Scartozzi’s was probably the closest to real Italian that we have found in Northwest Indiana. The main business of the family run trattoria is carryout and catering. However five small tables including two outside are worth waiting for. Both our dishes, the veal and the pasta, were excellent. The high quality of the ingredients were also evident in the bread and appetizers. The portions were large and prices fair.
