Never Fails. While I don’t think the Michigan City Schoop’s is quite as good as Valpo’s, which can probably be attributed to my hometown favoritism, It is still pretty darn good.The burgers are great and the service was prompt. This place is pretty much a sure thing: very consistant and you leave satisfied. Go Back? Of course… next time I am In Michigan City!
Large portions of good food. Shoop burger and mushroom Swiss are fantastic. Fries are huge.
Shoops is amazing. BEST BURGER!!! the buger was amazing and the portions are huge i recomend a double and a irish nacho!! The homemade soup was great!!

Classic, good. Second time here, third time overall at a Schoop’s [other time at Warsaw location]. Has always been good vittles, friendly service, and in a clean place. Tonight, had grilled patty melt, fries, and cherry coke, after leaving the Dunes for drive back home – so was good that they are now open until 10pm Central. BTW, some cool memorabilia about the place too.
Hot dogs & Chili. I love the hot dogs at Schoops. However the chili isn’t as good. It has a tin taste to it and has to much tomatoe.
