If youre in Michigan City, and craving breakfast, this is the place to go. A very inviting staff will be at your beckon call, ready to take care of you and all your needs. The house skillet was delicious, but extremely filling with layers of hash browns, hamburger, and eggs. The blueberry pancakes were a nice finish to the mega feast. Recommend!
I HEARD ABOUT SOPHIA’S HOUSE OF PANCAKES THROUGH A FRIEND OF MINE WHO RECENTLY MOVED TO MICHIGAN CITY, IN, AND SHE WAS CONSTANTLY OBSESSING OVER THEIR BREAKFAST MENU. SO I DECIDED TO CHECK IT OUT LAST SUNDAY MORNING SINCE WE WERE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AT THE TIME. WE GOT THERE AT ABOUT 9AM AND THE PLACE WAS PACKED! WE WERE HESITANT TO STAY, BUT A HOST TOLD US THAT THERE WOULD BE A 15 MIN WAIT SO WE WERE LIKE OK LET’S WAIT (GOTTA ADMIT IT, I HAD A HUGE PANCAKE CRAVING 🙂 ). WHEN WE GOT SEATED, THE WAITRESS SHOWED UP IMMEDIATELY. WITH HER HELP, WE DECIDED TO ORDER CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES AND MY FRIEND ORDERED RIBEYE STEAK WITH EGGS! IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I LIVE IN CHICAGO AND I’VE NEVER HAD A BREAKFAST LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! AND TOTALLY WORTH A DRIVE! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE OUT!
