Fresh choices – Tastes great. Love the cakes and pastries. Yes, the prices are higher than grocery-store-type sweets, but the products are soo much more tasty and made of better quality products. The Eau Claires are excellent, as well as the buttercream frosting. I would have to reiterate that the customer service staff are not friendly. But, hey, maybe that can get free tasties!

Way too sweet!. I am sure most people would like the confections out of this place, as it one of the better places in town. However, the cakes and pastries in general were way too sweet, dry, and tasted of poor ingredients. Even the macaroons were dry and tasted of sulfited coconut and expired almond extract! Yuck! The staff was impolite, snobbish but could not describe the ingredients of the case gems…..which gave me a poor impression of this place. In a pitch, I would return as this place is the only place short or South Bend or Chicago to get any quality at all, but it was a huge dissapointment because it could be SSSSOOOOO much more. Too bad… I would not say this place was overpriced at all, in fact for a confiture it was rather inexpensive…but no matter, I won’t return to this place unless I am in a pinch. The impoliteness of the staff was the thing really repelled me. I would be willing to return to keep checking this place out, but I wasn’t thrilled about the lack of welcome. Even still, this place has a lot of potential and I really have hopes it could be really good.

To call this place outstanding is an understatement. A little on the pricey side but this is a case of you get what pay for.
