Winter 2019. Medium rare ribeye was medium rare, rare, and raw in different portions of the steak (see photo). The steak was only cooked on one side and seared on the other (see photo) I felt the steak served was overly seasoned. My wife ordered a medium filet and it was served as medium rare and rare in different portions. The bottom of the table was…unfortunate (see photo). Knifes were dull. Service was fine. The cook must not have been aware of his grill temperatures, his meat temperatures prior to cooking, food prep or the time cooked. If things don’t change, I’ll venture to say it’ll be closed soon enough, just like the previous restaurants that were there. I’ve been to plenty of Darden Restaurants that do it right. It is hard to find somebody that LOVES the art of making a steak, but they are usually in a steakhouse. This night, I would have accepted average, but this under-performance was so beyond the pale that I believe retraining is in order. An actual chef instead of a cook, should be making these cuts.
