Outstanding restaurant. I got stuck here in Mooresville for the weekend so I decided to come over to the movie theater and watch a couple of movies. I’ve been looked across the parking lot and saw the a1 Japanese restaurant. The smell that was coming from the restaurant smells really good. I haven’t really eaten that much Japanese food so I took a chance and decided to eat there. It was the best decision I have made in choosing a restaurant in a long time the food was outstanding and the service was very pleasant I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone
Black Angel Sushi Roll. Tempura shrimp, with mango, avocado, with chef special sauce. So delicious.
Truly a hidden gem!. Decided to try this place out after reading some good reviews….glad we did an we will definitely be back! great service….a nice atmosphere… very good sushi….if you are doubting your decision to try this place out you can rest easy…..it won’t disappoint! two thumbs up…..

This place is amazing !! Best sushi ive ever had. Everyone who works there is so nice. If your lucky enough to get Jessie as you’re waitress Your experience will be the best you’ve ever had !!
Bad Management. I have no complaints about the food but the device and management is absolutely horrible and because of that we will not recommend to any of our friends or family.
Great food at a great price with a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
