Worth the Drive!!!. I just found out about Zydeco’s from a customer I’ll be cooking for this weekend. What a treat! As a chef it was nice to really enjoy a great meal. Staff was knowledgable and obviously proud of the food being served. Service was excellent and atmosphere relaxed with a big easy feel. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive from Fishers to Mooresville.
Great experience!!. A coworker recently told me about this gem, so we made the trip from Bloomington to check it out. My boyfriend spent 16 months working in New Orleans, and from the moment we walked in–he said it felt authentic. Our server, Mandy, was outstanding with her recommendations and service. Food was excellent!!! We then toured the lounge and store area, where my guy found a crawfish boil mix he’s been talking about for months. We will definitely be back!! Do yourself a favor, and GO!
Atmosphere + food. I have been three times, and each time the service was good and the food was yummy and memorable. It’s a great place to take guests, the atmosphere is fun and there really isn’t a restaurant like it in the region. My first time I plunged in with shrimp and tasso, and the waitress was kind and gave me tips about how to best attack my overwhelming dish. Every time I go I get something unusual to my midwestern palate, and I’m never disappointed! DH is not terribly adventurous, but he likes the catfish and fries, and the garlic soup is just YUM!
Cool, unique for Mooresville, fun place to eat. Very welcoming to kids too, that means a lot. Good food, I recommend it for singles, couples, or families.
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect, and the owners are wonderful, quirky, fantastic and friendly. If you live anywhere close to Indy and want to experience New Orleans food and atmosphere, please make a pilgrimage to Zydeco’s…You will not be disappointed!! (Other than a Saints poster or two) :)(PLEASE try the Half & Half)…
