Killer food, cool atmosphere and great beer selection! The service was prompt and friendly. Only thing that was tough was finding parking close.
I have been going to Savage’s for years now. It is the best bar in town, in my opinion. Not only does it have a very decent selection of beverages (in my mind only beaten by The Huerot) but they have the most excellent bar food in town (expensive, but the taste is worth the price). It is the best combination of food/beer I have personally encounter, making savages my fav place if I want food and beer. The only negative to the place (if you consider it to be a negative) is that, in general, they are so popular that they are usually very full and the place is rather loud because of it.
Great little spot and fantastic food…the tenderloin is on of the best I have had and I am a critic of tenderloins!! Must try! Not a lot of great places in Muncie, but this was a great surprise.
Noisey, long waits, unfriendly service. This place is very noisey. Hard to have a conversation. No hostess so have to wait for a table to open. Under staffed and those working are VERY rude. Make you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you! The food is just ok- typical bar food. Nothing special here!

Our regular waitress is fantastic. She knows me when I come in and always asks which of my two beers I want (calorie light/heavy days.) I can’t say enough about the food, but don’t expect diet fare here. This is beer and bar food. Period. It’s also the best combination of beer selection and grub in East Central Indiana.
Always good. I will never say no if someone asks me to go to Savage’s. The food is good, the beer selection is good enough for me (I am not an expert so my opinion might not matter here). They have Lindeman’s Framboise, which is my favorite, so I’m all for this place. Like other reviewers noted, it is very loud. Be prepared.I have noticed a couple bartenders who have no idea how to pour beer properly though, and it breaks my heart a little every time. Might want to include this in the training from now on.
