Grossly overpriced. Went here for lunch with a friend, wanting a place with good food and the capacity for us to just sit and catch up. We definitely picked the wrong place.I didn’t find the menu exciting at all, and the fact that the table was set with a fork and spoon rolled in a paper napkin was rather off-putting for a place that tries to be so pretentious. I ordered hot tea, was told they had chamomile, and agreed to that only to find out that the cup of tea was $3. Seriously? When the tea was served, a sugar canister/pouring container like one sees in a local diner was placed on the table. An extra napkin and spoon were given also, but I found out that when the server and/or bus boy clear the table, they take back any apparently-unused paper napkins. Makes one wonder what they do with them…….My luncheon entree was stuffed eggplant, which was not bad, but the lump of greens that accompanied it on the plate was unidentifiable and lacked any type of seasoning. My companion ordered salmon, which came with couscous and grossly under-cooked green beans that could not even be attempted due to the lack of a dinner knife being provided. The only condiments provided or offered are ground pepper or grated cheese, and they just couldn’t perk up my meal enough for me.Service was catch as catch can; if our server got involved in a conversation with a larger party, we wouldn’t see her for quite a while. I found it frustrating for her to be at the next table discussing hair cuts and coloring while we were waiting for requested items like more water or tea. What I found most amusing was that after I paid the bill and we lingered to chat a while, the server became most attentive. Makes me wonder if she saw her tip and was happy with it or what the deal was.One last note about the acoustics: tall ceilings, tile floors and stark walls create a deafening environment if the room becomes crowded or – as happened with us – a party with screaming small children is seated nearby.I was thoroughly disappointed and definitely will not be back.

Yuck! Yuck!….and oh yea…YUCK!. Nasty food. Unprofessional service. Poor management and ownership. How did these people ever get into business. Don’t waste your time here!

Terrible Service!…Including the owner.. This place is terrible. They are not professional and the food is not great. The owner, a female – older looking lady, was rude to a few customers and very unprofessional. I could not believe the way she spoke to fellow patrons. It’s also very lacking in ambiance. The food is touch and go. There are plenty other places to eat.

My first time there and I chose carryout. Ordered the special pasta which had shrimp, roasted red pepper and lemon cream sauce. Excellent! Will go back

Excellent! Not Italy, but as a European I will definitely be going back, and soon.
