Food was great! The staff acted like it was a bother to wait on us, no smiles, no refills, no how is your food… Won’t go back.
My family and I decided to try this place, and our server was so horrible we left before we could even take a drink. She was very short with us, and before my husband could finish his sentence she walked away.
One of the only places I know of serving pancakes with peanut butter chips. They were delicious. I’m not real crazy about the hash brown potatoes, but everything else here is pretty good.
Home Cooking. Great service and a nice lunch for under $10 (and that includes 25% tip) …..I had a plate full of biscuits & gravy plus another plate of fried- potatoes and bacon for $7…WOW.My lunch companion had a meatloaf which looked really good and can game with two sides and a nice slab of fresh baked bread,Great lunch spot!
I have been coming here for 12 years and have never had a bad experience. They have been voted best place to have breakfast in Floyd County. They are fast and friendly with service, the food is always served hot. They have expanded to two other restaurants and the service is the same at all of these. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. Yes they do use young adults to help out mostly on weekends but, they are helping them to learn and they do great job.
One word: SLOPPY. I have tried this place a few times thinking that the service might get better but it never does. Food is okay but the service is sloppy. They are always too busy talking amongst themselves to worry about their customers and most of the workers are teenagers (need I say more?). Almost every time I have been in there I have gotten a sticky table or worse yet syrup all over myself and clothes from the syrup containers not being cleaned off.
It is pretty pricey. You can go to other places for better food and prices.
