This place is a gem. We went Saturday for lunch. I didn’t have very high expectations, I was expecting the standard Mexican fare. But, I was really impressed. We started with the guacamole, and I had the enchiladas with mole. OK, it sounds like standard Mexican fare, but this stuff was unbelievable. And, we didn’t even scratch the surface of the menu. We’ll definitely be going back.
Very bad experience. Went there on a warm Spring day, doors were propped open front and back, even in the kitchen area…… maybe the A/C was not working. The place smelled musty/moldy. Beer special was Modelo Light $3.00 pints……sorry keg is empty. Wife asked for a margarita, We have one made with wine (What Mexican restaurant doesnt serve margaritas with tequila?)The menu looked impressive. Ordered a three enchilada entree that came out cold and looking like a mashed up taco salad. The atmosphere and location is horrible. Our bill with tip was $61.00…should have went to El Nopal for a similar, better experience for $12.00.
