I had my first craft brew here decades ago and have never stopped enjoying this place. Sometimes the wait can be long for food, but it’s generally worth it. This is my go to place for pizza and good beer. The servers know their product.
If your looking for a great place to get pizza and a craft beer then this should be your only stop. We have been going here for close to 20 years and it is always a go to spot.
Plan to wait 2hrs on a Saturday night. The beer, beer cheese and pizza are fantastic when you finally get service, but prepare to stand and wait and wait at the bar for a beer and wait two hours for a table that you were told would be a 30 minute wait. If not for the beer and company we would have left way before eating. Arrived at 6pm and finally ate in the bar on the couches where we were waiting for our table at 9pm! Never did get a table. All that being said, the pizza was wonderful and beer cheese delicious, a little too runny for my husband’s taste but spicy delicious! Outside of the chaos and disorganization of how the restaurant is run it was overall great food.
What were they thinking. Decided to drop by New Albanian for beer and food. After I ordered my beer, I asked for a menu and to my surprise I was told that they don’t serve food anymore. NOTHING! NOT EVEN APPS! Great beer but NO FOOD!!!
Amazing food, amazing people. I’ve been to just about every pizza place in the Louisville metro area and ythe New Albanian is definitely one of the top places, if not the top. The food there is amazing, especially the beer cheese and breadsticks; best beer cheese around! Not only is the food great though, the people are always extremely nice and happy to serve. I’ve not tried their beers yet but Ilook forward to when iI can.
Great beer. Did not eat there, but food looked great. Was just there for some great beer.
