Great Mexican Fare. I think one thing a lot of people in the Midwest have a hard time understanding about Mexican food is that it’s not all about presentation and superficial contemporary savvy. The food simply just is, and it is delicious at El Camino Real. I love their chicken dishes. They stew the chicken until it is tender and then pull it and then put it back into a savory rich broth to keep it tender. Your chicken tacos may drip a lot, but you’ll be trying to catch every bit of the juices. Their beef is also quite good. Whenever I go to a new Mexican restaurant I get their tacos. I figure it’s a perfect indicator of how much they care about their food. If something as simple as taco meat tastes like it was just as painstakingly prepared as any of the more complex dishes and sauces then I know I will find great success with any of their other menu items. I have eaten a lot of tacos at many different palaces and El Camino Real easily has the best tacos in a 50 mile radius. I also find their shrimp dishes quite good and my husband really loves their fajitas. Their prices are well marked and their lunch specials are worth taking note of as well.
El Camino is the best mexican place ever! Ive been eating there for years! Their cheese quesadillas are amazing!
Great staff and good food. I agree that it is not completely authentic but its about as close as you can get in the Indy area. Its our favorite resturaunt. We eat there all the time.
Good. El Camino is very similiar to the other closer to authentic mexican restaraunts nearby…decent food, decent prices. Their house salsa and chips are a notch above the rest…the salsa is a bit spicier than El Rodeo and a little bit more watery…which I found I like quite a bit. The tamales are very good as well, that is what I tend to go for. All in all a very decent place to go eat.
This is my favorite place to eat. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for.
Consistently good food. Great staff, excellent service. Chicken chimichangas are the best I’ve had in the Indy area. Order some of the homemade pico de gallo and guacamole with the chips and salsa… That’s a meal in itself. Great location in Old town Noblesville. Walk across the street to Dairy Queen for dessert!
